Activity 6: Solar system
THE SOLAR SYSTEM
The solar system formed 4.6 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of a giant interstellar molecular cloud.The vast majority of its mass is in the Sun, while most of the rest corresponds to Jupiter.
The solar system contains 8 planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and 1 star, the Sun.
